A little about me

With over twenty years of experience in the salsa dance industry, my journey began at a young age with classical training in ballet and modern dance. During my teenage years, my passion evolved, shifting toward the energy of Latin and Ballroom.

When I moved to Rome in 2003, I witnessed a Salsa performance for the very first time, and it left me mesmerised. That inspiration led me to immerse myself in the art form. I started learning Cuban Salsa before moving to LA Style. But something felt off as if I was looking for something different.

A pivotal moment occurred when I learned about Mambo NY Style, deeply inspired by Karel Flores style, I did everything I could to learn from her: online courses, in person bootcamp and workshops. Also I attended Marco Ferrigno's classes in Rome where I studied the transition from salsa on1 to on2.

I then started studying with Carla Voconi and had the chance to join her Glam Mambo Project for almost 3 years. Carla Voconi is an International Artist, during her career she danced with Tropical Jem, Juan Matos' Fogarate dc; Adolfo Indacochea, Eddie Torres and Rodrigo Cortazar.

During this time I had the opportunity to study classic mambo NY style, pachanga, chacha and boogaloo. Together with her semi-pro team we performed in some of the biggest Italian festivals. This was a great chance for me to study with a lot of great teachers and meet a wonderful dancing community from all over the country.

Other dance experiences performing with Barrio Latino at Firenze Mambo Night and then with Dulce Fuego once I moved to the Uk.

Inspired by the diversity and the enthusiasm of the London salsa scene, I did found and run a salsa Party in Rome called "Palladium Night" during 2017/2018 season, sure that my stay in the London would be temporary only. Well life had other plans for me! I'm still living in the Uk; a few years, a pandemic, an injury and a baby later, here we are ready to start a new chapter.
